Charitable aid & grants

How much does it cost?
Top up messaging credit through Sauti’s configured collection channels and review the estimated cost before release. Other enabled services can have separate prices. Charitable grants and B2C payouts use your disbursement account, not messaging credit. Ask us for the current plan and service rates.
How fast can we start?
Start with team accounts and supporter lists. Live messaging and payments also need configured provider accounts, approved senders, prices and working callbacks; availability depends on those approvals and your setup.
Can our messages show our campaign's name?
Yes. We register your own sender name with the mobile networks so your messages arrive from your campaign.
Our supporters don't all have smartphones. Will it work?
SMS, voice calls and USSD can reach feature phones without a data connection, where the relevant provider and shortcode or number are configured.
Can supporters donate?
Yes. Publish a donation page and print QR posters for your events. Supporters pay through the configured M-PESA or card channel, and receipts become available after payment is confirmed.
We are a party with many candidates. Does it fit?
Yes. Each candidate gets their own campaign space, and party leadership sees combined reports across all of them.
Can we distribute charitable aid to an audience?
Yes. Use Finance › Payouts › Charitable aid & grants to preview eligible recipients and request independent approval. The funded organisation M-PESA disbursement account pays approved transfers. Aid must be unconditional and unrelated to votes or political support. Read the grant guide.
